Summer may just be on the horizon, but Disney is gearing up for the holidays around Walt Disney World. We now have dates officially announced for this year's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. Tickets went on sale back at the beginning of April and now you can book special add-on experiences like the Holiday Fireworks Dessert Party. We recently learned that the Halloween Party will debut a brand new nighttime spectacular that will take advantage of all the new technology that came along with the Happily Ever After fireworks show. We don't know yet if the Christmas party will get same treatment, but if it does, this dessert party will ensure you score a great view.
Most dessert parties around Walt Disney World are priced at $79 for adults. But given that this is a very popular event at Magic Kingdom, it is priced a little higher, however there are two different price points you can choose from. This dessert party that includes reserved viewing from Tomorrowland Terrace costs $84 plus tax for guests 10 and up and $50 plus tax for kids 3 to 9. The second option is to enjoy the dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace, but then be escorted to the Plaza Gardens near the hub. This option offers a better view in my opinion, but it is standing room only, where as the previous option comes with seating. This Plaza Garden option is priced at $69 for adults and $41 for kids 3-9. To make reservations, click here.
A separate ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is required to participate in this special dining event. In 2018, the party also debuted a new dining event at Tony's Town Square Restaurant that came with reserved viewing for the parade.
