Splash Mountain & World Showcase Games Added to Play Disney Parks

Have you ever been stuck waiting in line for Space Mountain and run out of ideas on how to help pass the time. The Play Disney Parks app is a great way to keep kids entertained while waiting in those longer lines that you couldn't score a Fastpass+ for. The app features several different games and experiences that you can enjoy right on your cell phone. You can play a fun game of trivia, listen to Disney music via Apple Music and even earn some fun achievements like collectible pins. But today, Disney has announced two brand-new games added to Play Disney Parks.

Now that summer is practically here, longer lines are expected to form at Splash Mountain. It is the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day. While scoring a Fastpass+ reservation for this classic attraction will become more difficult, Disney has added a fun new game to play while you wait in the standby line before boarding your log flume. The game be played solo or up to 5 players and it's called The Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Day. While playing. Mr. Bluebird will ask you to help with some challenges like looking for a lost singing bullfrog and other mini-games featuring critters seen on the attraction.

Over in World Showcase at Epcot, there's now also the new Disney Kidcot Puzzle Hunt. Guests will embark on an interactive world tour to find physical jigsaw puzzle pieces throughout the Kidcot Fun Stops in all 11 World Showcase pavilions. After completing a pavilion’s puzzle hunt through the app, guests are rewarded with digital jigsaw puzzles and special photo frames themed to each pavilion to commemorate their journey around the world. It’s a perfect companion to the existing Kidcot Fun Stop activities the park offers and Agent P's World Showcase Adventure which can also be played on the app.

The Play Disney Parks app is free and can be downloaded to your iPhone or Android. The app can be played at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. In Florida, there are over 50 different games and experiences you can enjoy at all four theme parks and at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. When Galaxy's Edge opens later this summer at Disney's Hollywood Studios, an additional set of experiences will be available while visiting the land.
