Disney has just announced some great dining news! The new space-themed restaurant, which still doesn't have an official name, will open in Future World later this year. The table service restaurant will be the first in Future World East, complementing Future World's single table service restaurant under water at The Seas with Nemo and Friends. The new space restaurant will be operated by the Patina Group, which is also responsible for managing great Disney restaurants like Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion and Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs. Disney has stated that, 'they’ve developed a menu that features internationally-inspired cuisine, more than 1,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines and a wide selection of craft beer.'
The new restaurant will be located adjacent to Mission:Space and will launch guests into the stars where they can casually dine while orbiting our planet. The restaurant will include new projection screens that will encompass the entire restaurant, offering spectacular views of Earth down below. Reservations are currently not available for this dining experience, but once Disney confirms a concrete opening date, we will provide you with more details.
