Disney has just added additional dates for the very popular Disney After Hours event at Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Disney After Hours is a special ticketed event, perfect for those who hate waiting in long lines. A very limited number of tickets are sold on each night, far fewer than the number sold at Magic Kingdom parties for Christmas and Halloween. This means guests will practically have the park to themselves and walk right on to popular attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Slinky Dog Dash and more.
Here's a list of new dates added:
Magic Kingdom: May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
Disney’s Animal Kingdom: May 14 and 21; and June 4, 11 and 18
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: May 1, 4, 10, 17, 24 and 31; and June 14, 21 and 28.
**PLEASE NOTE the original May 7th event for Disney After Hours at Animal Kingdom has been cancelled**
Additionally, Disney has announced two special nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. May 1st will also be the park's 30th anniversary. So this particular evening will include special anniversary merchandise, additional character greetings and more food & beverage offerings to purchase. On May 4th, the special event will also take part in May the Fourth, an unofficial Star Wars holiday! On this particular evening, there will be epic character encounters including Chewbacca with Rey, Darth Vadar, Kylo Ren with Captain Phasma, Ewoks, Jawas and Imperial Stormtroopers. Plus, specialty treats available for purchase. Hardcore Star Wars fans will also be able to dress up in costume on this particular night as well.
All Disney After Hours event tickets cost $125 + tax for advance purchase and $129 + tax for day-of purchases. Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders do receive a discounted price $95 + tax.
