This July, guests will finally get to spend a night at the stunning new Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. This will mark many firsts for a Disney moderate resort. This will be the first moderate to offer a multi-story tower of guests rooms. Gran Destino tower will be 15 storeis tall and feature 545 new rooms, including 50 new suites! Another first will be that at the top of the tower will be the first moderate resort with a rooftop dining experience that will come with view of some fireworks. Toledo: Tapas, Steak & Seafood promises to be an vibrant table service restaurant serving up delicious Spanish-style tapas. But today, we've got more details on three additional dining locations that will be located within this resort's new expansion.
Three Bridges Bar & Grill will actually sit on Villa de Lago, in the middle of the huge lake at Coronado Springs. It turns out, this will be a table service restaurant, but a more casual dining experience than Toledo. You'll be able to delight in sandwiches, shared plates, and more at this relaxing lakefront restaurant. Sharable plates include yummy dishes like Curry-Lentil Hummus, Szechuan Peppercorn Wings and Stuffed Mushrooms. The entrée menu includes the Villa del Lago Salad with arugula, frisée, warm Yukon potatoes, white beans, and asparagus tossed in a bright sherry vinaigrette. Also featured are Braised Pork Tacos, Grilled Skirt Steak, Harissa Lamb Chops, Crispy Chicken Sliders and the Three Bridges Signature Burger. This mouthwatering burger comes with crispy potato, Manchego cheese, roasted garlic-lemon aïoli, arugula and tomato.
We've now officially learned that Gran Destino Tower will feature not one but two lounges as well. When guests first enter the new tower and check-in, they'll also be able to unwind with a drink at the Barcelona Lounge. This will be located right in the lobby of the resort and will offer a European coffee experience as well as Spanish and classic American pastries during breakfast hours. But then it will transform as the sun goes down. At night, Barcelona Lounge will become an artisanal cocktail bar featuring a variety of tonics to complement an international gin collection. There will also be a menu featuring small plates with savory options like Spanish charcutería and artisanal cheeses, Lentil Hummus ‘Aceitunas’ Marinated Olives and more.
Finally, Toledo: Tapas, Steak & Seafood will also offer a lounge component as well. It appears that this dining experience will be a more moderately priced version of California Grill at the Contemporary. If having a complete sit-down meal is not in your plans, but you still want to sample a bit of the new restaurant, you can enjoy the Dahlia Lounge. Located next to Toledo, this rooftop lounge will feature whimsical forms, colors, unique lights, and especially unique libations and dishes. Here you’ll find an array of wines hand-selected by one of our resident master sommeliers, including Spanish cavas. Cocktails are made with exceptional spirits and ingredients hand-crafted by talented mixologists.
