After being open for a couple of days now at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Galaxy's Edge has now opened up the Mobile Food Order service at several dining locations. This land offers five different dining locations; from the very popular Oga's Cantina to the Milk Stand where travelers can try blue and green milk for the first time. Mobile order is now available at three locations within the land and this will make traveling to Batuu a little bit easier on busy days. The three locations to offer the service are the Milk Stand, Ronto Roasters and the land's main quick service restaurant, Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo. (Get the Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters. It is the best food item in the entire land!)
For those who don't know, Mobile Order allows guests visiting select dining locations around Walt Disney World the ability to order their food directly on their phone via the My Disney Experience App. It's a fantastic way to skip the line, grab a table and eat whenever you want while enjoying the parks. For those on one of the Disney Dining Plans, meal and snack credits can be redeemed via the app now making it that much easier to keep track of your meal plan while on vacation.
During the first few days of operation, many of the dining and snack locations within Galaxy's Edge had moderate wait times, but not as bad as everyone expected. But ordering a glass of Blue Milk on your phone will prevent one less line to stand in while visiting a galaxy far, far away. Mobile order has proven to be one of the best technology features Disney World has debuted. It is now available at most quick service restaurants within all four parks and recently began being rolled out at select resort hotels.
