Disney's Hollywood Studios continues to refurb many areas around the park in anticipation of the big crowds coming in later this summer when Galaxy's Edge opens. Remodeling many of the park's shopping destinations on Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd seem to be a big priority for Disney management. The park's main emporium-style store, Mickey's of Hollywood, will closed starting tomorrow, May 14th. According to Disney World's official website, the store is scheduled to be closed until further notice. There is currently no reopening date scheduled, however it could reopen by the time September rolls around. Currently, Keystone Clothiers, which is the next major shop on Hollywood Blvd, is also closed for refurbishment. As well as Legends of Hollywood on Sunset Blvd, which used to be the park's Planet Hollywood Store.
Aside from these shopping locations undergoing refurbishments, the park's entryway is also heavily under construction, but will hopefully be completed soon. The park's new bus loop has been open for several weeks now, and the new tram drop-off and security checkpoint structure is approaching completion. The Disney Skyliner has been testing vehicles for several months now, and just last week, Disney revealed the character gondolas that have been under wraps since the beginning of this year.
