Yet another sign that the opening of Galaxy's Edge is getting closer. Disney recently announced that March of the First order will soon come to end on Hollywood Blvd. This mini-procession has been taking place down the streets of Hollywood Studios for a couple of years now. Where Captain Phasma has led her army of stormtroopers down the entrance area of the park, warning guests that the First Order is watching. But since Galaxy's Edge is right around the corner, Disney has decided that they will no longer march down the boulevard and they will be redeployed to Batuu when it opens on August 29th. Since the land will also have several previews before the grand opening, these troops will need to be repositioned for the lucky few who get to experience the land first.
March of the First Order will no longer take place at Hollywood Studios starting on July 6th, 2019. You can catch the First Order one last time on July 5th, when they'll do their last march at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm. In recent months, stormtroopers have been spotted roaming around Echo Lake. It is unclear if these smaller appearances will continue until late August. The two remaining shows on Hollywood Boulevard inspired by the epic saga, will continue as normal. The mini stage show, Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away will continue to perform several times a day and you will still be able to catch the fireworks every night over the Chinese Theatre.
