Due to television tapings for ABC's various holiday specials from Disney Parks around the world, select entertainment offerings at the Magic Kingdom will not perform this coming weekend. The shows affected take place in and around the hub and on Main Street U.S.A. In previous years, television crews, performers and extras have roped off the area in front of the Castle Forecourt Stage for concert performances. Making the area inaccessible to guests visiting the park that day.
Tapings will begin early on Saturday November 9th and continue through Sunday November 10th. Here's a list of shows that will not perform on these two dates:
Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire
Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party
A Frozen Holiday Wish
Once Upon a Time
Other entertainment offerings in this area will not be affected on these two dates. The park's welcome show, Let the Magic Begin, Main Street Trolley Show, Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After will run as normal and not be affected by these tapings. However there may be staging adjustments for these shows.
At this time, entertainment and attractions throughout the rest of the Magic Kingdom are expected to operate as normal during Veterans Day weekend. Offerings at the three remaining theme parks appear to be unaffected as this time.
