French Crêperie Coming to the France Pavilion at Epcot

Concept art for upcoming crêperie at the France Pavilion

As if the France Pavilion wasn't already getting enough updates, another dining experience will soon make it's way to this beloved corner of World Showcase. Yet to be officially named, this new authentic crêperie will combine both table service dining and quick service snacks in an all-new location that will be near the upcoming Remy's Ratoutille Adventure. This new restaurant will be lead by celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse. He is also behind the menu and creation of the pavilion's two other famous dining spots Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul.

Once complete, this will be the pavilion's second dining expansion. Back when the pavilion opened along with the rest of the park, it featured a patisserie and two table service restaurants. Once the original patisserie outgrew it's original space, a new expansion near the store at the exit of Impressions de France opened. Les Halles Boulangerie and Patisserie is a fantastic quick service location serving up delitcatable French pastries as wells coffee, sandwiches and more. This left the previous space to be used exclusively for ice cream, the now-infamous L'artisan des Glace ice-cream parlor.

But it looks like even the crepes being served up at a modest little booth near the lagoon isn't enough for Disney foodies. This new restaurant will feature a menu inspired by the Brittany region of France with both savory crepes called galettes and sweet crepes.

There is no official opening date for this new crêperie at this time. We are still awaiting an official opening date for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and the new Beauty and the Beast Live Sing-Along that will play alongside the long-running Impressions de France film.
