FOOD REVIEW: New World Showcase Dishes for Flower & Garden Festival

Believe or not, we are only about halfway through this year's Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. For 2019, the event is running all the way to June 3rd, so there are plenty of opportunities to see the beautiful displays and of course enjoy delicious food. In my last Foodie Friday video on Flower & Garden, I focused on my 5 favorite new dishes at the four new booths located in Showcase Plaza. There is no doubt that the Citrus Blossom remains to be the must-do Outdoor Kitchen for 2019, even if it's just to pick up the cute Orange Bird sipper. But today, the food reviews continue.

Today, I am taking you on a quick little tour around World Showcase, to share with you my 5 favorite new dishes at returning Outdoor Kitchens in this area of the park. One booth I forgot to mention previously was the Lotus House. This is home to the beautiful hand-crafted artisan cotton candy. This is not your typical theme park treat, these stunning works of art are fun just to look at. But looking at more substantial food, the Jardin de Fiestas in Mexico is certainly a stop to make on your trip to the event. This booth features both a great savory dish with the beef torta and a rich, delicious, tres leches cake. Both Italy and Japan offer some pretty solid dishes, but if it's one booth to hit in World Showcase it's the Smokehouse.
