Disney World Hotels Increase Overnight Parking Fees

In a day of bad news, Disney continues to increase pricing across the resort. Today, we learned that pricing for Annual Passes have increased significantly. This is possibly due to the anticipated high demand for guests visiting Galaxy's Edge during special Annual Passholder Previews. But the price increases don't stop there. All of the official Disney World hotels will also soon increase the price for overnight parking.

Reservations made on or after June 18th, 2019 for stays starting in 2020, Disney hotels will increase overnight parking by $1 or $2 depending on the exact resort hotel. The new pricing will be as follows; parking at Disney value resorts will be $15 per night, moderate resorts at $20 per night, and deluxe and deluxe villa resorts at $25 per night. If you booked a stay for 2019 or a vacation in 2020 before June 18th, overnight parking will be at the previous pricing at $13, $19 and $24 respectively.

For those wondering, Disney knows you have parked a car overnight every time your MagicBand is scanned at the gate to the resort of by the guard on duty. If guests are visiting Walt Disney World without a car, and using Magical Express to travel to and from the airport, there will be no overnight parking fee. Disney first introduced overnight parking fees in March of 2018. Up until that point, parking at a Disney hotel has been free for all guests.
