Today, Disney announced a new progressive dining experience coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom this summer. The dining event will take place every Wednesday from July 24th to October 23rd. Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night will combine a dining experience with a education as guests learn about the survival of key African species. The experience will begin with hors d’oeuvres, snacks and drinks at the Wildlife Express Train Station. After enjoying some light bites, guests will be taken to Rafiki's Planet Watch where Timon and Rafiki will pose for pictures and sign autographs. The experience will then round out with a trip back to Africa and to Harambe Market where you'll enjoy an array of entrées and dessert along with more beverages.
Throughout the entire experience guests will learn about the Big Five game animals: the African elephant, the rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo, the leopard, and our host animal, the lion. As you enjoy different flavors from Africa, you'll learn about the challenges the Big Five are facing and what Disney Conservation Fund is doing to help protect these animals.
Disney has previously hosted a similar event in this corner of the park known as Harambe Nights. This previous version also celebrated Disney's the Lion King with a special concert performance inside the Harambe Theatre, additional evening entertainment and an outdoor buffet celebrating the flavors of Africa. This new dining experience certainly focuses on unique African flavors but shines a spotlight on animal awareness instead.
Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night begins on July 24th, 2019, at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Pricing is $125 plus tax for adults and $99 plus tax for children ages 3-9 and separate park admission is required. Reservations can be made starting April 3rd by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by visiting Disney World's website. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can receive early access to reservations on April 2nd.
