August Walt Disney World Refurbishment Update

You may be one of the many eager guests descending upon Walt Disney World this August to either attend the first Not So Scary Halloween Party, opening weekend at Epcot Food & Wine or of course Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. If so, there are several refurbishments going on in the month of August at the various theme parks.

The Walt Disney World Railroad continues to be closed to accommodate construction for the upcoming Tron Coaster in Tomorrowland. Astro Orbiter closed unexpectedly back in July and continues to be undergoing maintenance. Over at Epcot, Disney has announced that O, Canada will close to begin the process of updated the film. There's no word when this new show will debut, but the space will also be utilized as a dining area for this year's Food & Wine Festival. Finally, Primeval Whirl as also suffered from a similar fate to Astro Orbiter in that it closed suddenly back in June and continues to be shut down while work is being carried out. Here’s a complete list of dates for all the refurbs currently scheduled for the month of August:
