2019 Very Merry Christmas Party Magic Shot & PhotoPass Guide

Thanksgiving may still be a few days away but the Christmas starts now at the Magic Kingdom. Earlier this month, the park kicked with the first Very Merry Christmas Party and we now have more details on all the special Magic Shot locations exclusively for the party. If you've purchased Memory Maker for your vacation, all of these photo opportunities are included in your package. Passholders don't forget that you get Memory Make for free included with your pass, so this is a great party extra to score. PhotoPass photographers can capture these specific shots starting at 7pm, when the party officially begins. Here's a look at the special Magic Shots available for this year's party and their locations:

Santa Animated Magic Shot (Santa Meet and Greet by City Hall)

I know that I always tell viewers to meet Santa elsewhere during the holiday season at Walt Disney World. In fact, the big guy can be found at Hollywood Studios, Epcot and even Disney Springs. However, if you opt to meet jolly old St. Nicholas at the Very Merry Christmas Party, you'll get a great animated Magic Shot.

Elf Magic Shot (Market Street and Partners Statue)

Right after your enter the turnstiles there are plenty of special photo ops during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Especially if you start the night heading down the Main Street Bypass, also known as Market Street. Here you'll find several photographers and can score this Elf Hat Magic Shot.

If you're not fussed about a Magic Shot, you'll also be able to capture the memories by taking a photo with several holiday prop signs on Market Street.

Mickey Bokeh Magic Shot (Main Street U.S.A. near Town Square)

If you travel down Main Street when entering the party or on your way out, you can score this beautiful Mickey Bokeh Magic Shot that transforms all the lights on the park's Christmas Tree into classic Mickey heads. You can take this special Magic Shot on Main Street, facing Town Square so that the tree is in the background.

Toy Soldier Animated Magic Shot (Main Street U.S.A.)

Nothing screams the holidays at Disney World more than the Toy Soldiers seen during Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. It instantly reminds me of Babes in Toyland! If you're a fan of these guys as much as me, make sure you get this animated Magic Shot with one of the PhotoPass photographers on Main Street. If you only have time to do one, this is it!

Cookies and Cocoa Animated Magic Shot (Park Hub.)

I am sure you know by now that you can enjoy as many cookies and hot cocoa as you want during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. But this is a version you can take home! This animated magic shot with the hot cocoa prop can be found near the hub of the park.

Candy Cane Magic Shot (Park Hub, Partners Statue, Liberty Square Bridge & Tomorrowland Bridge)

Before heading into the other lands around the Magic Kingdom, you can also get this giant candy cane Magic Shot at several locations. These can be found around the hub in front of Cinderella Castle, by the Partners Statue and on the bridges that lead to Liberty Square and Tomorrowland. The bridge shots will capture the lights twinkling on the castle in the background.

Mistletoe Shot (Various Locations)

Also on the bridge to Liberty Square, guests can get this cute Mistletoe Magic Shot with their special someone. This is actually available at almost all the PhotoPass locations except for the ones at the character meets. So this is an easy one to score at any point in the night.

Giant Holiday Ornament Shot (Market Street, West Plaza Garden, Liberty Square Riverboat Landing)

One shot that I've actually taken several times is with the giant holiday ornament prop that will make friends back home envious that you attended the Christmas Party. This is another shot that can be found in multiple locations; the landing for the Liberty Square Riverboat, the West Plaza Gardens near the hub and also on Market Street.

Zero Animated Magic Shot (The Haunted Mansion)

Fans of a spooky version of Christmas should make a stop at The Haunted Mansion to capture this cute Zero animated Magic Shot. The Halloween season may be over, but Jack's pet dog is a fun character to grab a picture with for the holidays. And don't forget you can meet Jack dressed as Sandy Claus over in Town Square Theater with Sally.

Tinker Bell Lantern Shot (Enchanted Tales with Belle Entrance)

I know I said that the Toy Soldier animated Magic Shot is THE photo to get, but I can't leave out this adorable shot with a Tinker Bell lantern. This is a beautiful shot and one that I have personally used for Christmas Cards in the past. This one has moved for 2019 and can be found near the entrance to Enchanted Tales with Belle in Fantasyland.

PhotoPass Studio at Sir Mickey's (Fantasyland)

Available both during the day and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you can make a stop at the new photo studio at Sir Mickey's for a special family photo with one of several holiday props. Reservations are not required, you just have to pop into the store, pose and that's it! Sir Mickey's is located just behind Cinderella Castle and next to Princess Fairytale Hall.
